Asus is going for all in the hard-fought smartphone market and is not satisfied with its popular and successful Zenfone line, the Taiwanese firm has presented in China the new Asus Pegasus 2 Plus X550 that leaves aside Intel hardware to bet on Qualcomm.
The Asus Pegasus 2 Plus X550 is a phablet with a 5.5-inch screen and 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution that hides inside a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor consisting of eight highly energy-efficient ARM Cortex A53 cores.
The rest of the known features include 3 GB of RAM, so you will not have any fluency problems in your Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, a 13 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera and a generous 3, 030 mAh battery.
For now it is not known when it will hit the market and at what price.
