ASUS Introduces PN and PB Series of Ultra-Compact Computers

The ASUS PN and PB series of computers seek to satisfy all kinds of tasks, from office applications, points of sale, education, health centers, etc.

PN60

With dimensions of 115 x 115 x 49 mm, This computer is equipped with a Coffee lake i3-8130U processor and can install up to 32GB of SO-DIMM DDR4 memory. Storage is quite flexible, allowing 1 SATA hard drive, one M.2 SSD and one 16GB Optane drive to speed up data reading. WiFi, Bluetooth and Ethernet connection is common in all the presented models, plus USB-C, HDMI, VGA and Displayport ports.

PN40

This setup feels more modest with a Celeron N4000 or Celeron J4005 processor. In this case we can have up to 8GB of RAM memory installed. Supports SATA and SSD disks.

PB60

This configuration, without a doubt, is the most powerful. With dimensions of 175 x 175 x 34.2 mm , We can make use of Intel Core ™ i7-8700T, i5-8400T or i3-8100T processors, it is also possible to use a Pentium G5400T. Here we can integrate up to a maximum of 32GB of RAM and it is the only model in which it is possible to add an optical drive (Blu-Ray perhaps) . Both this model and the PB40 come without a fan, so they operate in complete silence.

PB40

This more modest model can include a Celeron N4000 processor and up to 8GB of memory. As for storage, it only supports a 2.5 inch SATA hard drive.

ASUS is offering a 36 month warranty. At the moment we do not know its price and release date.
