Asus Radeon RX 480 ROG Strix reaches the Spanish market with a price of 335 euros

Asus has announced that the Radeon RX 480 ROG Strix will be immediately available in the Spanish market for a recommended price of 335 euros in both versions. A significantly higher price than the reference model (269-290 euros) but in return offers better features and above all a much lower temperature and quieter operation.

The new Asus Radeon RX 480 ROG Strix arrives in two versions differentiated by its clock frequencies, the first of them reaches 1286 MHz for its graphic core while the Asus ROG Strix RX 480 OC variant reaches 1330 MHz to improve its performance. Both share the same custom PCB with Super Alloy II components for greater reliability and better energy efficiency. The GPU is accompanied by 8 GB of GDDR5 memory with a 256-bit interface and a bandwidth of 256 GB / s.

The Asus ROG Strix RX 480 comes with a DirectCU III heatsink consisting of a large monolithic aluminum fin radiator crossed by several copper hetapipes and with three advanced 90 mm fans that are responsible for generating the necessary air flow and which have the 0 dB technology for passive operation in idle or low load situations. The set is completed with the AURA RGB LED lighting system .

The excellent energy efficiency of the AMD Polaris 10 architecture manufactured at 14nm FinFET enables the Asus ROG Strix RX 480 to operate with a single 8-pin connector. The specifications are completed with two HDMI 2.0b outputs, two DisplayPort 1.4, and a DVI-D.
