ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced during the Oculus Connect 3 developer conference in San Jose, California that its new ROG G752VS and ROG G752VM gaming laptops have received Oculus Ready certification.

Packed with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-series graphics, the latest Intel Core processors, and up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM, the ROG G752VS and ROG G752VM are the first gaming laptops to meet the recommended specs for the Oculus Rift glasses. NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 Series graphics deliver an incredible virtual reality (VR) experience, and these devices also incorporate NVIDIA G-SYNC technology, which reduces image lag and jerk and eliminates tearing for enjoy games with the most fluid and fast action possible.

ASUS and Oculus partnership aims to provide the most immersive virtual gaming experience for gamers. The new ROG G752VS and ROG G752VM join the rest of the ASUS Oculus Ready gear collection; specifically the ASUS G11CD and ROG G20CB desktop PCs.

The Oculus Ready badge is awarded through a series of demanding tests that ensure that the ports, firmware, operating systems and other functions of the equipment meet Oculus standards. The computers hardware system undergoes 17 reliability and performance tests that include a 72-hour stress test and port checks to ensure that the system is fully Oculus Ready compliant. After a bench of more than 100 tests, each Oculus Ready PC is scored on a 10-point scale.

Oculus Compatible PCs: ROG G752VS and ROG G752VM

The ROG G752VS is equipped with the new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card, an Intel Core i7 processor, and up to 64GB of DDR4 memory. In addition, its unlocked processor includes overclocking tools to speed up its frequency to 4.0 GHz. The ROG G752VS incorporates a 120 Hz refresh screen and 178 degrees of viewing angle that provides a quality image from any position.

The ROG G752VM comes with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics, offering significantly improved performance over the previous generation. The ROG G752VM is also equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor, up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM, and a backlit keyboard with a 30-key rollover that ensures highly accurate interaction with gaming.

These laptops join the rest of the models in the ASUS Oculus Ready PC collection; specifically, the ASUS G11CD and ROG G20CB desktop PCs equipped with 6th generation Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or 1080 graphics.
