ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) just unveiled the Hurricane G21, a compact, player-centric desktop computer powered by an eighth-generation Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card.

RoG Hurricane G21 is a powerful computer with unique design

Hurricane G21 has a unique magnetically secured side cover that sets it apart from other desktop computers. At first glance it already stands out for its chassis with asymmetric figures, and the name of Huracán seems to be a good choice.

The folding side cover can be opened to improve air flow to the system and activate Aura lighting effects. The additional airflow provides the necessary cooling for your high-performance components, especially for demanding tasks such as playing video games.

To ensure the best gaming performance, Huracán features the latest generation Intel Core i7 processor with up to 32GB of 2666MHz DDR4 memory and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics. The Hurricane can opt for storage of up to 512GB on an M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD and about 2TB on a normal hard drive; and up to 2TB with Intel Optane technology, which is also available.

The Aura lighting effects can be customized to adapt the lights depending on the game we are currently playing, while Aura Sync synchronizes the light effects with mice, headphones, keyboards, monitors and other peripherals compatible with this technology from ASUS.

The ASUS RoG Hurricane G21 will be available later this second quarter.
