ASUS ROG Bezel-Free, multi-display accessory that eliminates bezels

At CES 2018, ASUS had unveiled a ROG product that promised to offer gamers a frameless gaming experience, turning their triple-screen setups into what looks like a single large monitor. Now ASUS has brought this idea to market with its ROG Bezel-Free Kit ABF01.

ASUS ROG Bezel-Free Gaming Kit is designed to be placed between compatible monitors, which are below 27 inches with a frameless or thin frame four-sided design, and refract light using "optical microstructures" to eliminate visibility of the frames and create what looks like a single continuous screen.

This kit is specifically designed for those who enjoy simulator games, shooters, or other experiences that benefit from a multi-monitor setup. The only downsides to this solution are that users will have to align their monitors perfectly and that these refraction kits are not ideal for non-video game purposes such as office work or web browsing.

At this time, ASUS has not confirmed when its ROG Bezel-Free kit will be available in stores, or at what price these kits will be shipped. Many gamers may view this kit as a must-have upgrade for their multi-monitor setup, especially those who enjoy racing titles. We will keep you informed.
