Lately we are seeing more interest from brands to put gaming mice with wireless connectivity on the market. To compete with the rest of the alternatives on the market, Asus has released a wireless variant of Gladius II, the new Asus ROG Gladius II Wireless that retains the shape, button design and grip of the original Gladius II, but is wireless.

New Asus ROG Gladius II Wireless Mouse

This new Asus ROG Gladius II Wireless lacks the wired model's lower RGB LED diffuser and is somewhat heavier, weighing in at 130g, which is just 20g more than its wired sibling. It also includes a more powerful and more advanced sensor that will offer a better experience of use. The ROG Gladius II Wireless uses a combination of 2.40 GHz RF and low-latency Bluetooth BLE to achieve input latencies of just 1 ms.

The new mouse includes a 16, 000 DPI optical sensor that is based on the famous PixArt 3360, a slight advance compared to the 12, 000 DPI of the original wired model, although at the moment of truth, both are very much left over. The user can switch to wired mode on the go, simply by connecting the included USB cable to its micro USB connector located on the front of the mouse. The Asus ROG Gladius II Wireless could be priced for around $ 140 to compete with the Logitech G Pro Wireless.

At the moment no figure has been given on the autonomy of the mouse, although it should be around 30-50 hours if we take into account what their direct rivals based on the same sensor are capable of offering. What do you think about the launch of this new Asus ROG Gladius II Wireless?
