Asus today announced its new ProArt PA32UC professional monitor that stands out for implementing HDR technology in all its glory, which translates to a maximum brightness level of 1000 nits.

Asus ProArt PA32UC stands out for the inclusion of a HDR panel of the best quality

Asus ProArt PA32UC is an advanced monitor with a 32-inch panel based on IPS technology and with a UHD resolution. The most remarkable thing about this panel is that it includes the Ultra HD Premium certification, which guarantees a brightness of 1000 nits, which is an essential requirement to offer a true HDR experience. This panel is capable of covering 85% of the colors of the Rec. 2020 spectrum, 99.5% of Adobe RGB, 95% of DCI-P3 and 100% of sRGB.

This monitor also includes an advanced calibration function with a 14-bit lookup table and a 5 x 5 grid uniformity test for maximum color accuracy. Its standard calibration guarantees a ∆E value of less than 2, making it ideal for imaging professionals such as photographers, video editors, and anyone who needs high color accuracy.

Asus ProArt PA32UC offers two Thunderbolt 3 ports to achieve data transfer speeds of up to 40 Gbps, DisplayPort and USB 3.1 with Power Delivery to provide up to 60W of power to external devices. Additionally, users can daisy-chain two 4K UHD monitors through a single port without the need for a hub or switch.

The price has not been announced but it will surely not be cheap when mounting a panel that is really compatible with HDR technology. Of course it also has anti-flicker and blue light reduction technologies to take care of the user's eye health.
