Last year, Samsung launched the industry's first 49-inch ultra-wide gaming screen that showed that 'exotic' products can be a hit. This year ASUS introduced its own 49-inch ultra-wide model that is intended to target a more massive audience with the ASUS VG49V.

The ASUS VG49V display is based on Samsung's 49-inch curved VA panel with an incredible 32: 9 aspect ratio, with a curvature of 1800R. The screen reaches a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a resolution of 3840 × 1080.

The monitor doesn't have any kind of quantum dot-enhanced backlighting and doesn't meet AMD's FreeSync 2 requirements, which could be somewhat disappointing, though it does supplement it with its wide format, which gives us exceptional peripheral vision in gaming. that they are compatible.
