Meet the asus vivowatch

Anonim

ASUS had entered the smartwatch market with the launch of its ASUS ZenWatch, which was unveiled at the IFA fair in Berlin in 2014 and launched soon after that. ASUS ZenWatch is powered by Google's Android Wear operating system, but now the company is back with the Asus VivoWatch.

The Asus VivoWatch is more concentrated than the ZenWatch and is capable of better monitoring, as well as following sleep patterns and different heart rate exercises. The VivoWatch comes with a stainless steel body, along with an IP67 water and dust resistance, which means it can be used in the shower or in the pool. The VivoWatch is capable of connecting to a smartphone and providing notifications and other options.

However, what is particularly notable about the VivoWatch is that it promises up to 10 days of battery life, making it one of the longest battery life smartwatches on the market. ASUS President Jonney Shih had previously scoffed at a battery that was more durable for smartwatch and in matching the company's focused device with a lower powered processor it seems to be in line with this approach.

The smartwatch appears to feature a black and white energy-saving display, along with a kind of colored bar indicator light below it. ASUS has chosen to run its own Android Wear-based operating system on board the Asus VivoWatch under a black and white panel.

The new VivoWatch by the company will reportedly be shown at its sensation event, which runs from April 14 to 19 in Milan. So stay tuned for the latest news and updates on the next VivoWatch.
