Asus Zenbook 3 as fine as a Macbook

In principle ASUS gives us to choose different processors from the Intel family, Intel Core i5 Skylake or Intel Core i7 and all with their respective integrated graphics cards. It is also important to note that the screen is 12 inches with Gorilla Glass 4 protection and possibly a resolution of 2560 x 1440p or 1920 x 1080p.

The amount of memory can be from 4 GB to 16GB of RAM. And all models will come with 256GB SATA3 SSDs up to 1TB via PCIe x4 connection.

One of its most important points is that it will have a weight of 910 grams, a thickness of just 11.9 mm and will come equipped with the USB 3.1 Type C connections, fingerprint reader and the recent Thunderbolt 3.0 connection.

Availability and price

The Asus Zenbook 3 will launch in two colors blue and pink. The most modest configuration will have an i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD that will arrive for a price of 999 euros. While with Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB and a 512GB SSD it will come with 1500 euros and a second version with a 1Tb hard drive for 2000 euros. Do you think it is a direct rival to the Macbook? Which one do you like the most or would you prefer? We would go for the Asus since it is much more powerful and the difference between Windows 10 and MacOSX is minimal today.
