AsusWrt-Merlin has made available a new firmware developed for various ASUS router models, version 380.67 Beta 3. This new firmware implements support for fq_codel and support for configurable overload in the Adaptive QoS menu.

For those compatible devices, please note that the developer has implemented separate update packages for the following models RT-N66B1, RT-N66R, RT-N66W, RT-AC87R, RT-AC87U, RT-AC68P, RT by ASUS -AC68R, RT-AC68W, RT-AC68U and RT-AC68UF .
This update is compatible with models RT-AC88U, RT-AC66W, RT-AC66U, AC66U rev. B1, RT-AC66R, RT-AC56R, RT-AC56U, RT-AC56S, RT-AC5300, RT-AC3200, RT-AC3100, RT-AC1900, and RT-AC1900P .
If you want to update the firmware of your wireless router, what you should do is download the firmware corresponding to your model and connect your computer to the router using a lifetime Ethernet cable. You must go to Advanced settings> Administration> Firmware update already inside the router, then you must select the file with the.trx extension that we just downloaded. We will do this by clicking on the option 'New firmware file' or 'New firmware file' and then simply on loading.
