Audio-Technica returns to the ring with the launch of two new headphones, the ATH-G1 and ATH-G1WL. Two models with similar technical characteristics, except in connection, since the second, as indicated by the suffix WL, is wireless.

More specifically, it benefits from a 2.4 GHz connection via a USB dongle, all with a software package behind which allows for virtual virtualization if necessary to add surround sound, useful for games.

For the rest, the two helmets share the same base, that is, 45mm diameter transducers and a lightweight construction to fit the head perfectly.

The headset also comes with a removable, flexible boom microphone that offers highly directional pickup to separate voice from ambient noise. The mute, volume and surround controls are located on the edge of the earpiece for easy access, and there's even a selectable mic control feature that lets you hear your own voice through the earpiece when required. The removable microphone is designed to minimize unwanted noise, such as the sound of keys while typing.
