The presentation of the Aukey Dash Cam has no secret since it follows the company's minimalist trend to save costs. Once we open the cardboard box we find the following bundle:

We mention that the power adapter for the car cigarette lighter has two USB ports so we can use it to also power another device at the same time as the Aukey Dash Cam, for example a GPS navigator or even charge our smartphone.

Aukey provides two mounting brackets for the Aukey Dash Cam, one of them has a suction cup that attaches to the dashboard while the second one is fixed with an adhesive in case we want to place the camera in a different place on the glass.

Aukey Dash Cam is a very compact and light camera, something that has been possible by not including a battery inside, on the other hand it forces us to always have it connected to a power source in order to use it. Personally I would have preferred a battery to be integrated even if the camera was bigger.

On the front we have the 2-inch LCD screen along with the four physical buttons to use it, the image quality of the screen is quite fair, although no more is needed since we will not see the recorded videos on it.

At the back is the anchor for the bracket and the sensor. Aukey Dash Cam mounts a Sony Exmor IMX323 sensor that is capable of recording video at 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and a speed of 30 FPS, the other supported modes include 720p and 480p at 60 FPS both.

At the top is the USB connector and the MicroSD memory card slot, the camera does not have internal memory, so it will be mandatory to put one in order to use it. Video recording performance reaches 20 hours at 1080p on a 128GB card according to the manufacturer.

Aukey Dash Cam is made entirely of black plastic and reaches dimensions of 58mm x 58mm x 32mm.

Final words and conclusion about Aukey Dash Cam

Aukey Dash Cam is a car camera with a very cheap sale price, despite this it includes a good number of accessories and offers a more than acceptable image quality. Its use is very simple since as soon as you turn it on it will start recording so we don't have to do anything. We can make the video clips have a duration of 5 or 10 minutes, which will generate a high number of files if we take a long trip. Other recording modes include taking 1 image every second and the ability to make recording start and pause as we move or stop.

The build quality is high, its assembly is extremely simple and the USB cable is long so there will be no problems in any car. The guides that are included in the bundle will help us organize the cable and that it does not bother us although we can put the camera on the passenger side and it will not bother at all.

As a negative point, we point out that the camera rotates very easily so it will be important that nobody touch the cable if we do not want to ruin the video. Aukey Dash Cam is for sale for an approximate price of 65 euros.
