Previously we discussed Battlefield 1 and its support for the new API DirectX 12, now EA together with the DICE study make official the minimum and recommended requirements to enjoy this new war adventure set in the First World War.

Battlefield 1 Minimum Requirements

Battlefield 1 means going back a bit to the origins of the saga, who debuted with Battlefield 1942 back in 2002 with the same premise as always, massive vehicle battles and large scenarios divided by locations that we must conquer. After the last installments set in contemporary wars, it is time to return to the past, to a little exploited era in the field of action video games, the First World War.

In Battlefield 1 there will be a great graphic leap compared to Battlefield 4 and that is evident from the minimum requirements that our team must have in order to move it decently.

  • 64-bit Windows 7 Intel Core i3 6300T processor or FX 4350.8 GB of RAM GeForce GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7850 graphics card 40 GB HDD

To give you an idea, the minimum requirements to play this game are the recommended requirements that Battlefield 4 had, this clearly marks the technological innovation that Battlefield 1 would mean, with scenarios with more details and better visual effects.

Recommended requirements

  • 64-bit Windows 10 Intel Core i7 or FX 8300 processor 16GB RAM RAM GTX 970 or RX 480 graphics card DirectX 12

Among the recommended requirements of the game (surely to play in maximum detail) it is surprising that it is one of the first titles to require 16GB of RAM and the recent AMD Radeon RX 480 is already mentioned as the recommended graphics to play with DirectX 12.

Battlefield 1 will be released on October 21 for PC and XBOX One and Playstation 4 consoles.
