Benq ex3501r: new curved monitor, ultra

BenQ has released a new 35-inch curved monitor with a somewhat odd feature. The BenQ EX3501R curved monitor is configured to operate at a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. So a little better than 2K, but not 2K. At this resolution, it appears to be somewhere between 2K and 4K image quality.

This is an ultra-wide screen. As such, 3440 x 1440 is generally considered the generally accepted resolution. However, if you've never had an ultra-wide monitor, chances are you've never known that this option exists. It should be noted that the monitor is compatible with HDR technology and that it has 100% compatibility with the sRGB color spectrum, which makes it special for professional and semi-professional designers. The inclusion of 1 USB-C port for this BenQ option is also appreciated.

Specifications include:

• Response time is 4ms. 100% sRGB color spectrum 300nit maximum brightness. HDR Contrast 3000: 1 100Hz refresh rate. Also includes 2 HDMI ports, 1 DP port, 2 USB 3.1, 1 USB Type-C and headphone jack.

Between 600 and 650 pounds

The monitor is currently sold in retail stores for between £ 600-650. That price seems to be above the cost of a standard 35-inch 4K monitor. Sure this is a wider model, but is that extra expense worth it?
