BenQ has quietly launched its new BenQ SW271 professional display that includes a 4K resolution panel, support for the DCI-P3 color gamut, and HDR10 support. The monitor is the smallest relative of the BenQ SW320 released about a year ago, but it does have a number of significant differences - the new screen is officially aimed at photographers, and each unit is factory calibrated.

BenQ SW271 is a true screen for professionals

The BenQ SW271 is built with a 10-bit IPS panel, which allows 1.07 billion colors to be reproduced and covers 100% of the sRGB color space, 99% of the AdobeRGB color space and 93% of the DCI- color space. P3. Unlike SW320, SW271 uses LED backlighting.

The other specifications of the SW271 look rather standard for a high-end UHD monitor: 3840 × 2160 (4K) resolution with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, a brightness of 350 nits, a static contrast of 1000: 1, a 5 ms response time and 178 ° viewing angles. The HDR10 is a nice addition, although it seems low quality compared to other monitors.

Speaking of graphics and video professionals, it's worth mentioning that the SW271 features BenQ hotkeys that allow users to quickly switch between Adobe RGB mode, sRGB mode, and Black and White mode, or perform other functions.

The SW271 monitor has a DisplayPort 1.4 connector, two HDMI 2.0 connectors, a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C input (see compatibility list) and a headphone jack. All digital interfaces support HDCP 2.2 required for protected content. Additionally, the new monitor includes a dual-port USB 3.0 Type-A hub and an SD card reader.

BenQ SW271 is available at retail stores in the United States for approximately $ 1, 150.
