Bethesda has plans to improve its presence on Nintendo devices, according to a recent company announcement in which it unveiled its plans for the release of more games on the Nintendo Switch.

Last year, the company confirmed that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was going to be released this November, while last week Nintendo also announced that DOOM and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus would be coming to the Switch in the near future.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, DOOM, and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus are coming to the Nintendo Switch soon

According to Bethesda Vice President Pete Hines, this is only the beginning and in the future users will see many more games for Nintendo's new hybrid platform.

“Honestly, it has been a long series of conversations. They approached us before presenting the Switch in order to show us what its hardware would be like and what plans they had with the new console. Since then we have had constant conversations, and not only about the two games we have now, but about our strategy regarding this platform for the future - what we can do, best practices, what things would be more appropriate, what things would they like it more, etc, ”Hines said during an interview with VentureBeat.

"Obviously we are very excited about these two games, but it will not be just these two games and that's it. We want this to be the beginning of a stronger relationship with Nintendo and Nintendo fans, "he added.

Likewise, Hines also stated that it has been a long time since Bethesda did not launch anything for a Nintendo platform, and he hopes that the new titles will be welcomed with open arms by gamers.

In addition, there is also high hope that Bethesda will release a version of Fallout 4 for the Switch, although it is not ruled out that the company will develop completely new games for the Nintendo console.
