Biologists create a biocircuit with medical utilities

A group of biologists have managed to create a living circuit that can have various medical applications, including a future way to detect and combat a disease as prevalent as cancer.

The creation and understanding of this new living circuit is much more complicated than in the case of a traditional one, since it does not work with electricity but rather the chemical transmitters that cells use in our bodies. So use complex new mathematical operations. The new circuit could be injected into patients' bloodstream to treat diseases like cancer much more effectively than with the current methods used that have numerous unwanted effects on the patient. Another possible application is in diabetes management, by injecting the circuit into the patient's blood they would be able to measure glucose levels and automatically adjust the insulin dose as needed.
