BIOSTAR announces the release of Windows 7 support for its latest Intel and AMD motherboards, including the A10N-8800E and H310MHG models.

BIOSTAR does not leave Windows 7 behind

Windows 7 continues to be the second most widely used Windows operating system in the world, both by home users and in offices, schools, and government organizations, so it makes sense that it continues to have strong support from manufacturers.

Users with BIOSTAR motherboards have the joy that their latest products for AMD and Intel will be supported for a good season. Check out the full list of compatible motherboards and BIOS updates below.

Although Microsoft may be ending support for the older Windows 7 operating system, users can still protect their PC with the upcoming SHA-2 security update. It is vital that users of legacy operating systems install the security update, as computers without the security patch will be vulnerable. For up-to-date data security, the BIOSTAR H310MHG motherboard also comes with a TPM - Trusted Platform Module, making it perfect for government organizations that require the highest level of data security. TPM modules are used in conjunction with other security technologies such as biometric verification, antivirus software, firewalls, smart cards and others.

BIOSTAR motherboards for AMD and Intel are fully Windows 7 compatible, suitable for home, business and government use.

The SHA-2 security updates will run throughout the year, and started on March 12 with security updates KB4474419 and KB4490628.

For H310MHD3, H310MHG, H310MHC2 and H310MHD PRO2 motherboards, BIOSTAR offers a tool for creating Windows 7 installation images on USB flash drives. The Windows 7 installation image will also work with other BIOSTAR motherboards that support this same operating system. See the BIOSTAR guide here.
