Biostar launches the a10n motherboard

BIOSTAR launches the A10N-8800E SoC motherboard focused on gamers. The BIOSTAR A10N-8800E has a compact mini-ITX format and already ships with a powerful Carrizo architecture AMD FX-8800P quad-core processor with integrated Radeon R7 graphics.

The A10N-8800E is a motherboard with integrated CPU and graphics that supports dual-channel DDR4 memory, up to a speed of DDR4-2133 and a maximum capacity of 32GB (2 × 16GB). The motherboard also includes support for a 16 Gbps M.2 drive, which is a must-have on any modern motherboard.

BIOSTAR A10N-8800E features the AMD Carrizo architecture, an integrated APU processor (FX 8800P) with a Southbridge controller block for the I / O port, making it a fully integrated System-On-Chip solution. AMD Radeon R7 is an integrated low-power 25W GPU that provides superior graphics to what Intel currently offers.

Performance superior to Intel's offerings

The motherboard is also designed to last and be protected against overvoltage, thanks to an exclusive protection called Super LAN, an advanced antistatic protection that reinforces electrical stability and prevents damage from surges and electric shocks.

The motherboard also includes Realtek ALC887 7.1-channel high definition audio to deliver surround sound and enjoy a superior gaming experience.

The A10N-8800E seems to be the perfect motherboard for compact gaming PCs and entertainment HTPCs with support for 2K or 4K high definition displays. Although saying that it is a 'gaming' motherboard, it may sound exaggerated given the components it has, if it can be an inexpensive alternative to build a really inexpensive PC that is prepared for almost all scenarios. Its price was not disclosed.
