Biostar shows its new am4 motherboards for ryzen
Table of contents:
AMD is expected to launch the first Ryzen processors on the market at the end of next February, which is why the main manufacturers of motherboards and heatsinks are rushing to develop their solutions for the new platform. Biostar does not want to be less and has shown its new AM4 motherboards.
New AM4 motherboards from Biostar
The new AM4 motherboards from Biostar are based on the X370 and B350 chipsets that will be used in high-end and mid-range motherboards. In total we have 7 models and logically the best are those based on the X370, these boards will support memory up to DDR4-2933 MHz with one or more PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, remember that only the X370 chipset allows CrossFire, an M.2 port., various USB 3.1, numerous SATA III ports, between four and eight USB 3.0 ports and various USB 2.0. All of them also have high quality 7.1 audio and an advanced RGB Vivid LED DJ lighting system.
Next we have the B350 boards that support memory up to DDR4-2667 and retain characteristics very similar to the previous ones with the exception of not allowing multi-GPU systems. The new boards consume 5.8W so they are much more efficient than the current AM3 + that reach 20W.
