Bq aquaris 5: characteristics, availability and price.

Bq, maker of low-cost mid-range / high-end e-books, smartphones and tablets, is launching its first 5-inch screen smartphone under the Bq Aquaris 5 name.

It comes equipped with a Quad Core processor with a speed of 1.2 Ghz, 1 GB of RAM memory, PowerVR SGX544 graphics card at 286 mhz, 16 GB of internal memory that are expandable up to 32gb plus via micro SD and an IPS screen of 5 ″ HD at 960 × 540 220dpi. All running with the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

It incorporates a rear 8 Mpx LED camera with auto focus and a front one with VGA quality (skinny spot) and GPS tracking. As extras we have: a proximity sensor, a brightness sensor, a magnetic sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a 2200 mAh battery and the capacity to house two SIM cards (Dual-SIM).

In the coming weeks it will be available in some online stores and official distributors. Its price of € 199 (listed in pc components) is one of the great incentives, since due to technical characteristics it is a high-end mobile.
