The Spanish firm Bq has not missed the opportunity to visit the MWC in Barcelona to announce the successor of its first smartphone with a metallic design. The new Bq Aquaris X5 Plus arrives to improve its predecessor while maintaining the design that it has liked so much.

The Bq Aquaris X5 Plus maintains the design of the original X5 with an attractive aluminum body for a better finish and a much more attractive appearance. The Spanish firm has focused on improving performance, so the Bq Aquaris X5 Plus has a powerful 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor (4x ARM Cortex A72 + 4x ARM Cortex A53) at a maximum frequency of 1.8 GHz and a powerful Adreno 510 GPU so you can move all applications and games with great solvency. All this will be at the service of the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.

As there will always be several versions differentiated by their storage and RAM, so we can choose between a more basic version with 16 GB and 2 GB, an intermediate version with 32 GB of storage and a RAM to choose between 2 GB / 3 GB and finally the Top model with 64 GB of storage and a RAM to choose between 2 GB / 3 GB. In all cases the storage can be expanded by up to an additional 64 GB with a microSD card.

The display of the Bq Aquaris X5 Plus also makes a significant leap with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels while maintaining the size of 5 inches, which means about 440 pixels per inch on its five-inch diagonal, and Quantum Color + technology for better quality of colors.
