How to block a phone number on your iphone

One of the things that drives me the most out of my boxes is receiving unwanted calls. By itself, the Telephone function is, by far, the one I use the least on my iPhone to communicate with the world, but when I receive a call to offer me this or that insurance, or to switch to another telephone operator, my anger grows like mushrooms in the fall. Luckily, we can block a phone number very quickly, easily and, above all, effectively. Let's see how to do it.

I am sure that you too have had to suffer the insistent and continuous calls, at any time of the day, from that company that wants to encaqueque life insurance, or that wants you to go to another phone operator. And no matter how many times you tell them that you are not interested, they insist, insist, and insist, perhaps believing that you will fall into the network, even if it is from exhaustion.

And then there are the heavy ones on duty. That person from whom, for various circumstances, you do not want to receive calls or messages, and with whom you do not want to have any communication.

If you find yourself in any of these circumstances, the solution is none other than blocking a phone number, or all the numbers you want, because on the iPhone it is super simple:

1. Open the Phone application on your iPhoneSituate yourself in the "Recents" section and click on the button next to the number you want to block and that appears with an "i" inside a small blue circle. Scroll down to the bottom and press the Block option this contact (it is not necessary that you have it added to your agenda although, if you already know who it is, you will be able to better identify it in your blocked contact list) Confirm the action by pressing Block contact

You will no longer receive phone calls, messages or FaceTime calls from that phone number on your iPhone. And if at any time you want to unblock it, all you have to do is follow the same steps described above, the option "Block this contact" will have changed to "Unblock this contact".
