Today we bring you the tutorial on how to delete the history of Microsoft Edge in Windows 10. As some of you know, while the new Microsoft Windows 10 operating system still includes Internet Explorer 11 (which is the default). Since its launch Windows 10 also includes the new browser called Edge that is gradually catching its audience.

How to erase Microsoft Edge history in Windows 10 step by step

Microsoft Edge works with several configuration options, so what might have been easy and simple in Internet Explorer could be confusing in Edge. For example, in Edge it changes the way you manage your browser history and it does not present the same detailed view as Internet Explorer did (and still does).

1. - Open the Edge browser

Click the tab on the toolbar that has three horizontal lines. A box will open on the right side of the window. Click on the pin icon at the top right of the sidebar to fix the container and prevent it from disappearing. Then click on the History icon at the top of the sidebar, which looks like a clock.

2. - View browser history

You should now see a list of recently opened web pages in Edge. The list is divided into three sections: pages that opened in the last hour, pages opened in the last week, and pages that were opened later. Click on each section to see all the sites on the list.

3. - Delete individual pages from browser history

You can remove all web pages from each section of history by clicking the X on its right side.

4. - Clear all browser history

Another and simpler way is to go to settings and on the next screen choose the option Delete browsing data -> Choose what should be deleted. To delete all the browser history we will click and then you will see the options of what you can delete, such as browsing history, cookies and saving of website data, cache data and selected files by default. If all you want to erase is the browser history, uncheck the remaining boxes, as cleaning these will remove you from any of the websites you are connected to. Finally, you click on "Delete" and you already have everything removed from the history.
