Well, the first way we will have to do this will be through the Windows graphical tool, the Hard Disk Manager. The procedure will be quite simple, but with this process we will lose all the data that has been stored on our dynamic hard drives. Let's say it is the most direct way without installing anything, but with that big problem. Of course if you want to keep your files, we recommend that you make a backup before proceeding with the change.

Well, the first thing we must do is click on the start menu with the right button and click on the gray menu option " Hard Disk Management " to start the tool.

Next, we will see an interface that many of us should be familiar with. A list of the volumes and partitions existing on our computer is displayed in the upper area. In the lower area, which is what interests us, we will have the storage volumes of our equipment with the graphic representation of the partitions that have been made of it.

Well, what we will have to do first is right click on one of the hard drives to see what options we have. In our case, since we have two hard drives linked by a single dynamic partition, the option " convert to basic disk " is disabled.

So, in this case, we will have to delete the partitions one by one until leaving the hard drive completely unformatted, rather, in the " not assigned " state. We start with clicking on one of the partitions with the right button and choosing " delete volume ". For now we are not going to touch the hard disk where the operating system is, since we will try to convert it without losing data with the payment method.

Diskpart is a tool similar to Disk Administrator, but it is used in command mode, from CMD or Windows PowerShell. For our part, we will use the latter to carry out the procedure.

Let's assume that we have a dynamic disk with three partitions, which is not the disk where Windows 10 is installed, although the procedure would be the same. Of course we must indicate that also through this method we will lose all the files on this hard drive in the transformation.

The first thing will be to open PowerShell as administrator, for this we click again on the start menu with the right button to choose " Windows PowerShell (Administrator)".

Now we put the command:

Now we want to see what number the hard drive that we want to convert has, for this:

list disk

We know that it is hard disk 2, because we know that they have a space of 100 GB. But if we are not following you, we will be able to identify them through their partitions so we write:

Although we have downloaded a trial version, we must bear in mind that this feature will only be available if we pay for a license. This is one of the big drawbacks of this type of program, which will allow us to carry out certain configurations, but the ones that really interest us are only available as payment.
