How to change the email address of your apple id

Just a few days ago we told you in Professional Review how to delete your Apple account forever, however, instead, you may simply prefer to change your email address, for example, because you have lost access to your usual email, or simply because you have changed your main provider and want to use your new email with your Apple ID. Next, we will show you how to do it quickly and easily.

Change the email address of your Apple ID

Changing the email address you use for your Apple ID is a relatively easy process.

1. First of all, you must open the browser that you use regularly, such as Safari, and visit the Apple website that gives you access to your account at the company: appleid.apple.com. To access, enter your credentials current access, that is, the email you use so far and your password. Press the arrow to the right to enter. In case you have two-factor verification activated, enter the code that will be displayed on any of your devices when prompted. Once inside, press the Edit button located in the corner top right of the Account section. Next, under your current email, click Change Apple ID…

   

   Enter the new email you want to use for Apple ID.

   

   Click on Continue.

Remember that if you initially have your Apple ID configured with an own Apple domain such as icloud.com, me.com, mac.com, you can add an email address as "aliases" that you can use as your primary email address in however, you will not be able to remove the Apple domain from the account.
