AirPods have quietly become one of Apple's most popular devices. More and more people are seen with them on the street, and sometimes their name is used as a synonym for this type of wireless headphones. Those who have them, enjoy them every day, and we like to use them on all our devices and equipment. Therefore, today we will tell you how to connect AirPods to Mac simply and quickly.

Connect AirPods to Mac

If you have other devices from the bitten apple, you have previously configured your AirPods to your iPhone or any other equipment or device linked to your Apple ID, the AirPods are already available to use on your Mac. In this case, you do not have more than putting the AirPods on your ears and clicking on the sound symbol

in the menu bar on the Mac. Then select your AirPods from the list.

In the event that your AirPods do not appear, or you have not yet configured them on any device linked to your Apple ID, follow these steps:

  • Open System Preferences in the Dock, Launchpad, Spotlight, or Apple menu  in the menu bar Click on the Bluetooth panel

making sure that this option is activated. Insert both AirPods in their charging case and open the cover. Press and hold the button on the back of the case until the light blinks white. Select the AirPods in the device list and click Connect.

If the sound is still playing through your Mac's speakers, follow the steps at the beginning: press the volume control

in the menu bar and select your AirPods as the output device.
