How to convert a USB into single charge

Before you start, you should know that you only need a couple of minutes. It may seem more complicated than it actually is, but you will see that it is very easy, and that in a few minutes you will have your USB in just charging.

Steps to follow to convert a USB into a single charge:

  • Look at the USB at the large end and you will see 4 gold contacts. The two outside carry power, while the two in the center carry data. We can see it in the following image:

  • Now you are going to need heat and scissors. It is very important that the heat sticks well, and if it is transparent better than the white color, because it works better in this type of device. Cut out a small piece of heat and put it on the data contacts as you will see in the image. Make sure you cover the two data contacts inside, not the outside. They need to be completely covered. You can see it in the following image, because you will see that you have to be very careful.

  • Cut the excess adhesive tape (heat) as we see in the following image, with scissors.

And you already have it! Now when you connect the USB to the computer, it will only receive power to charge the device, but it will not detect that the equipment is connected. With this tutorial, we have managed to avoid hacks in public places.

We hope it has served you and that you have managed to turn your USB into a single charge ! Remember that if you have questions, you can leave us a comment that we will help you delighted.
