One of the most notable features in recent years was the incorporation of 3D Touch technology into iPhone devices. The sensitivity to the pressure of the screen allows us to directly access certain functions from the icon of an app on the home screen, however, it may not be so useful to you and you prefer to disable 3D Touch on your iPhone. If so, then we tell you how to do it simply and quickly.

Deactivating 3D Touch is a matter of seconds

The 3D Touch feature is a useful function, however, Apple itself seems to have had doubts about it in such a way that it has replaced this technology with a similar function on the iPhone Xr that it has called "haptic touch". Similar but not identical since it removes some features such as shortcuts on the main screen.

If you still have an older iPhone that has 3D Touch, you may prefer to disable this feature and get used to not having it. Let's see how to do it:

  1. On an iPhone 6s or newer, with the exception of the iPhone XR, which, as we say, lacks this technology, open the Settings app, enter the General section and select the Accessibility option. Scroll to the bottom of the screen until you see the option of 3D Touch. Click on it. Now all you have to do is press the slider that you will see next to this feature to go from the On position to the Off position and disable 3D Touch

In this same section of the settings you can also choose to change the touch sensitivity of 3D Touch. With this you can choose between exerting more or less pressure on the screen when you want to use 3D Touch.
