How to pair your airpods with galaxy s10 or any other device

The success of the AirPods is unquestionable. Despite the initial criticism of its design, the truth is that more and more people have joined it. You just have to take a walk around the city to check it out. Fortunately, you don't need to have an iPhone or iPad to use these wireless headphones. While it is true that some features are lost, it is also possible to link your AirPods with the new Galaxy S10, S10 +, S10e and with most other bluetooth devices. Let's see how to do it.
Use your AirPods with any device
First open the AirPods case and make sure to keep the two individual headphones inside. While the case is open, press and hold the small pairing button located on the back of the charging case.
Now access the Bluetooth menu in the settings of your Samsung Galaxy S10 terminal, or on any other device.
Your AirPods must appear on your terminal. When this happens, simply confirm the pairing as if it were any other bluetooth device. From now on, you can listen to your favorite music, movies, podcasts or any other content through AirPods, just like with any other Bluetooth headset.
When you're done, from the Bluetooth menu, forget or unlink the headphones so they no longer connect. All previous iCloud associations remain intact, so when you unlink AirPods from your work computer, for example, you can instantly continue using them with your iPad or iPhone.
You should be aware that since other non-Apple devices lack certain aspects, there are some things that don't work like they do on iOS. To start, as we have already described, the pairing process is not so "magical" and instantaneous, you must resort to the old way.
Controls also act differently. A double press on either headphone will function as a play / pause button. In iOS, this can be configured to suit your preferences: play / pause, next song, Siri.
You also can't take advantage of iCloud sharing that seamlessly syncs AirPods with all your devices, just like it does on Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Apple Watch.
