How to enable 4k playback on amazon fire tv
In recent years, 4K or UHD content has become increasingly popular. Netflix records all of its original series, such as Daredevil or House of Cards, in 4K quality. To enjoy this resolution it is not possible on any type of television.
How to enable 4K playback on Amazon Fire TV
From there choose " Screen and sounds"
Go to the "Screen" option and select "Video resolution"
The option should be " Auto " to automatically play the content if it is available in 4K quality.
Unfortunately, there is no other way to "force" 4K resolution, and it cannot be selected as the default resolution either.
If for some reason you would prefer to see everything in 1080p, you can select this option in the settings window.
