According to anonymous sources with knowledge of the status of the project, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will not offer a single-player campaign, since its development would not be ready by the time of the game's launch. Activision I have decided to focus my efforts on cooperative and multiplayer zombie modes. There is also talk about the possibility of the inclusion of a battle royale mode, something that makes a lot of sense given the success that games like PUBG and Fortnite have achieved.

Rumors of a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 remaster for this year are also circulating, in this case only the popular single-player campaign will be included. It is mentioned that both games could be offered in a single pack, to compensate for the lack of the campaign in Call of Duty Black Ops 4, although it remains to be seen if the price of this pack will be that of a single launch game or will be higher.

When asked about the matter, Activision simply responded with the usual line "we do not comment on rumors and speculation", so we will have to wait until the official presentation of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on May 17 to see if everything this is true or not.
