Chrome makes major changes to its internal architecture to protect users from Specter vulnerability
Chrome has added a new security feature called " Site Isolation, " which is enabled by default on Mac, Linux, Windows and ChromeOS installations. This feature has been available since the release of Chrome 63, since then the function has been perfected by fixing most of the errors, so it is time for it to be activated by default.

This site isolation feature comes with major changes to Chrome's internal architecture, limiting each rendering process to a single website, limiting the potential of Specter-based attacks. Additional features like Cross-Origins Read Blocking are also enabled to further limit Specter-type attacks.
The downside to this is creating more smaller processes, which increases Chrome's memory consumption by about 10-13. This change will not have much impact on the majority of users, although the users of the most humble teams will be the most affected. Google is currently working to enable site isolation for Android users, although there is no ETA for this update.
Google continues to work to optimize this new function as much as possible, which should allow a reduction in the extra consumption of RAM memory associated with this new functionality. What do you think of this novelty?
