Cinebench overview

As you can guess, both programs were created by the same company, in this case Maxon, which also offers support material for renowned programs such as After Effects or Illustrator.

However, on the company's website there is no trace of Cinebench R15 , since it has been completely replaced by the R20 version. Therefore, if we want to download this first program, we have to do it through third-party pages.

It should be noted that it does not take over the System , so when we launch the benchmark it is recommended to close all processes, otherwise performance will be impaired.

Since Cinebench R15 is more veteran, we will start by talking about it and its characteristics.

Cinebench R15

Maxon has done an excellent job of simplifying the entire interface making it intuitive and easy on the eyes. Possibly this is one of the reasons why Cinebench (in its two versions) is a fairly popular test.

If you want to install any of the two programs, you can do it through the following links:

  • In this link you can install Cinebench R15 64 bits (thanks to Guru3D) In this link you can install Cinebench R20 from Maxon's own website (for Windows and / or MAC)

And you, what do you think about Cinebench both R15 and R20 ? What programs do you use to check the performance of your processor? Share your ideas in the comment box.
