Codemasters publishes pc system requirements for f1 2019

The 2019 F1 launch is scheduled for June 28, and Legends edition players will have access three days before June 25. Codemasters has reported the PC system requirements, which for the most part are similar to those of the F1 2018 edition.

F1 2019 increases its recommended requirements compared to F1 2018

While the system requirements, shown below, are similar, F1 2019 includes a number of visual improvements, including lighting changes, more accurate material simulation, and plenty of other tweaks. In F1 2019 the F2 2018 season is also added, which includes racers such as George Russell, Lando Norris and Alexander Albon .

The minimum system requirements remain the same as the previous year's edition, but the game's recommended hardware specifications have seen an increase, as well as the addition of support for DirectX 12.

MINIMUM:

• OS: 64-bit versions of Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 Processor: Intel i3 2130 / AMD FX4300 Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: Nvidia GTX 640 / HD 7750 DirectX: Version 11 Storage: 80 GB of available space

RECOMMENDED:

• Processor: Intel i5 9600k / AMD Ryzen 5 2600x Memory: 16GB RAM Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1660 ti / RX 590DirectX: Version 12 Storage: 80GB available space

Now an Intel i5-9600K is recommended in place of the i5-8600K, while the RX 580 and GTX 1060 are replaced by RX 590 and GTX 1660 Ti respectively. The game's storage requirements have also been increased from 50GB to 80GB.

When this game launches it will be interesting to see how the DirectX 12 API affects its performance, as well as see the improved graphics of the game and how they affect both performance, especially when comparing tracks in similar conditions.
