Colorful Introduces CVN B365M Gaming Pro V20 Motherboard

At first glance the Colorful CVN B365M Gaming Pro V20 seems to be designed for the 'entry-level' segment, an inexpensive motherboard to build a powerful computer and within the possibilities, but not much further.

The new Colorful B365M Gaming Pro V20 will be compatible with eighth and ninth generation Intel processors that support the LGA1151 socket. The motherboard also supports, how could it be otherwise, DDR4 memories in four DIMM banks.

Of course, the CVN B365M Gaming Pro V20 supports the SATA III standard with up to 6 ports, but it also supports M.2-format SSDs that support both PCIe and Intel Optane memory for high-speed storage. This detail is very positive, since there are other 'entry-level' motherboards that dispense with this type of format.

The B365M Gaming Pro V20 also features a steel-reinforced PCIe slot, giving the motherboard a premium feel and a refined look. The entire motherboard is presented in a rather stark look and has no RGB lighting of any kind on the motherboard. In terms of connectivity, we see the presence of an Ethernet LAN connection, but there are no Wi-Fi functions on the motherboard. The ALC892 6-channel chip is responsible for the sound part.
