Command & conquer could return to the world of pc says ea

Jim Vessella, producer of Electronic Arts, has revealed that the company would be considering releasing some remastered versions of the first Command & Conquer games. Also, after the big reaction regarding Command & Conquer: Rivals, EA seems to be able to return the franchise to the PC with a new installment.

Electronic Arts plans to remaster classic Command & Conquer installments

At Electronic Arts they are pretty sure that we can all agree on the nature of real-time strategy, which means staying away from influences like LoL or Ground Control, and offering a compelling story, with modes for a single player and multiplayer modes. So yeah, these are some crucial things EA must follow, otherwise most Command & Conquer fans, and PC gamers in general, will not flinch with this new C&C entry.

“As you may know, we recently announced Command & Conquer: Rivals, a mobile game set in the Command & Conquer universe. Following the reveal of the game, we listened to fans and saw that players want the franchise to return to the PC. And as a C&C fan for over 20 years, I couldn't agree more. With that in mind, we have been exploring some interesting ideas about remastering classic games to celebrate the 25th anniversary. ”
