If you have a fairly “powerful” gamer team or an enthusiastic configuration, you may have noticed that sometimes the fashion game: PUBG (PLAYERUN ancla'S BATTLEGROUNDS) hits a scratch due to a slight drop in FPS.

Above all, you will notice if you are a frequent user at large FPS scales (CS: GO or Call Of Duty) and want to feel as fluid as in other games. For this reason, we bring you a quick guide to solve this problem and be able to quickly unlock FPS in PUBG. Here we go!

How to unlock FPS in PUBG step by step

The first thing you should do is measure how many FPS you have in the game. It won't do you any good to unlock +60 FPS if you really don't get to them. For this, we recommend that you take a look at how to activate the FPS with Steam or use any application like MSI Afterburner that incorporates RivaTuner.

Locate configuration folder

We will go to start, click on run and write:

% localappdata% \ tslgame

It will take us to this folder:

We will navigate until we reach the path: C: \ Users \ Migue \ AppData \ Local \ TslGame \ Saved \ Config \ WindowsNoEditor

Edit Engine.ini file

To modify and insert the code that we will tell you below. We must do with the right button of the mouse on the game.ini file and click on edit. And something like this will appear:

Now we will insert this code at the end of the file:

FrameRateCap = 60

Wait! Wait! As you can see, in FrameRateCap it is “capped” at 60 FPS. How do we unlock it? As simple as setting the value to 0, so that it is infinite, this means that the limit will be set by your graphics card or PC.

FrameRateCap = 0

We will click save and close the notepad.

Last modification

The game is updated almost week after week, since it has a lot of bugs and above all they are banning those users who cheat. For this reason (if you want to, of course), we are going to leave the file in "read only" mode. This way it will not overwrite it, although if you see any bugs with an update, we recommend that you reinstall the game and modify the file again:). The latter is usually done at least every two to three months.

Now! It is as simple as clicking on engine.ini (with the right button) go to properties and select: “read only”. Once marked, we will press to accept and enjoy.

Hopefully this little guide will help you. It is not a common thing for us to take out this kind of tutorials, but we see it so useful, that we think it is worth investing this time to shield help from the community. Now do you play better? We want to know your opinion!
