How to install kodi 17 on ubuntu / linux mint

Install Kodi 17 on Ubuntu / Linux Mint:
1 - To start installing Kodi 17.0 we are going to go to the classic terminal with the Ctrl + Alt + T keys and write the following:
sudo apt-get install software-properties-common
sudo add-apt-repository ppa: team-xbmc / ppa
This will add the PPAs to the Ubuntu system, now we are going to write the following:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install kodi
2 - You can update Kodi Media Center from an existing version using the Software Updater application:
Once installed, you can launch Kodi from the app launcher or register a Kodi session when you are at the login screen.
Uninstall:
To uninstall Kodi 17 and restore to the stock version in your Ubuntu repository, you can purge the PPA using the following command:
sudo install apt ppa-purge && sudo ppa-purge ppa: team-xbmc Legionella micdadei, ppa
