How to recover password on Twitter

Twitter allows the user to access their account through the email address provided during registration , phone number (if any) or username (@fulano, for example). But as this data is usually saved in the browser and you don't need to enter it frequently, the username or password is often forgotten. The access options connect to your account, to regain access to your Twitter profile and try to make you see your messages again.

Option 1 - Via Email

Step 1. Access the Twitter login page (twitter.com/login) and if you can't remember your username, try using the email address or phone number.

Step 2. If you also do not remember the account password, you must then request a new one.

Step 3. If your account has been compromised or hacked, then an email will be sent to the associated account.

Option 2 - Mobile application

If you no longer have access to the registered email address, you don't remember your username, or you don't have a phone number associated with your account, but you signed up for the Twitter app on your phone, go to the options and change the registered email address. Go to Settings> Account> E-mail.

Option 3 - Check Spam or SPAM

Step 1. If you tried to reset your password and you haven't received the email from Twitter, check your spam box. If you have already done this and have not received the email, please contact Twitter support (support.twitter.com);

Step 2. If you have received the email from Twitter and your password could not be changed, try clearing your browser's cache or try another browser. Still, an error may appear stating that it is locked. This is a security feature to prevent others from taking multiple attempts to access your account. Twitter says the lock should be broken in about an hour.
