Anonim

After comparing the Aquaris 5 HD with the Chinese Jiayu G4 and G5 models, we now do the same with the Jiayu S1. Next we will check if this model follows or exceeds the quality line of its "relatives". However, the qualities of its services are still very remarkable with respect to their prices. The Professional Review team will now be in charge of detailing its features:

First, its screens: the Jiayu S1 mounts one with a 4.9-inch IPS function and 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Aquaris 5 HD for its part has a screen that also has IPS technology, HD quality and 5-inch multi-touch with a resolution of 128 0 x 720 pixels and 294 pixels per inch. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass.

We continue with its processors: while the Bq Aquaris 5 HD features a Quad core Cortex A7 1.2 GHZ SoC and a PowerVR Series5 SGX544 graphics chip. The Jiayu S1 is more powerful thanks to its 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU and Adreno 320 GPU. The Aquaris and Jiayu RAM memories are 1 GB and 2 GB respectively. Its operating system is Android version 4.2 Jelly Bean for the Spanish model and version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean for the Chinese.

Cameras: The aquaris 5 features an 8-megapixel rear sensor with an LED flash. Its front camera is 1.2 MP. As for the video recording, its resolution has not transcended. The Jiayu S1 is made up of a rear sensor made by sony of 13 MP. Its front lens is 2 MP. We therefore verify that the resolutions of the cameras of the Asian model are higher.

From connectivity we can highlight that both the Bq Aquaris 5 HD and the Jiayu G5 have only very common connections such as 3G, Bluetooth or WiFi, lacking LTE support.

We will continue with his designs: the Bq Aquaris 5 HD has a size of 141.8 mm high x 71 mm wide x 9.1 mm thick and weighs 170 grams. The Jiayu S1 is 138mm tall x 69mm wide x 9mm thick and weights 145 grams. The Chinese model has a steel back cover, which gives it great robustness, in addition to protecting its screen thanks to the Corning Gorilla Glass. The Aquaris body is made of plastic and available in black.

As for its internal memories: the Jiayu markets a 32 GB model, while the Aquaris 5 has a 16 GB one. Both are expandable via microSD card up to 64 GB.

The batteries of the Asian and Spanish terminals have practically the same capacity: 2300 mAh and 2100 mAh respectively. However, the greater power of the Jiayu S1 could mean that its autonomy is lower. The last word will be the handling given to the smartphone.

And finally, its prices: these are smartphones that have a quite remarkable quality / price ratio: 179.90 euros for the BQ Aquaris 5 and around 230 euros for the Jiayu S1. These mid-range devices are affordable for almost any Android user. A perfect gift for this Christmas.
