Comparison: iocean x7 hd vs bq aquaris 5 hd

Today we will start a new round of comparisons with a new protagonist, a Chinese terminal manufactured by the iOcean company: the iOcean X7 HD. It is the cheapest Low Cost smartphone in the world, which in the first place will face the BQ Aquaris 5 HD, a Spanish brand with a good value for money. Throughout the article we will check which of the two terminals are more suited to our needs or is more profitable for the pocket. We begin:
The screens of both smartphones have the same size and the same resolution: 5 inches and 1280 x 720 pixels. In addition, both have IPS technology, which gives them a wide viewing angle and very defined colors.
Camera: both terminals have an 8-megapixel main objective with F / 2.2 focal aperture if we talk about the iOcean and with proximity sensor, brightness, Dolby ™ sound technology and autofocus if we refer to the Aquaris. The two cameras also have an LED flash. The Aquaris and iOcean front lenses have 1.2 and 2 megapixels respectively, useful for video conferencing or photography. They are also trained to make video recordings.
Processors: The iOcean X7 HD features a 1.30 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 SoC and a Mali400MP2 graphics chip . The Aquaris 5HD for its part has a SoC Quad Core Cortex A7 1.2 GHz and a PowerVR Series5 SGX544 graphics chip . As for RAM memory, both terminals have 1 GB. Their operating systems are also the same: Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Designs: the iOcean X7HD has dimensions of 141 mm high × 69 × 8.95 millimeters thick and a body made of aluminum. The BQ for its part has a size of 141.8 mm high x 71 mm wide x 9.1 mm thick and weighs 170 grams. The novelty with respect to the normal Aquaris 5 is its thickness, managing to be a little thinner thanks to the 0.8 mm less it presents.
Connectivity : both devices have basic connections that we are used to like the WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth or FM radio .
Internal memory : the iOcean X7HD is lacking in ROM owning only 4 GB , while the Aquaris presents 16 GB. Both phones have the possibility of expansion via microSD card, the Chinese model up to 32 GB and the BQ a 64 GB.
Battery : the capacity of the BQ reaches 2100 mAh, while the iOcean X7 HD gives us the possibility of choosing between a 2000 mAh battery or another 3000 mAh battery. We must not forget that the fact of how we handle the smartphone (games, videos, etc.) will directly affect it.
Price and availability: it will be a long time before seeing this smartphone in our country. At the end of this January it will go on sale in his own country (China), for a price in yuan that in exchange is slightly less than 100 euros, about 96 euros approximately. It is cheaper than the normal terminal, which can be purchased at http://antelifespain.com/ for 165 euros + 25 euros for shipping costs, so it amounts to 190 euros. The Bq Aquaris 5 HD can be found on its official website for 199.90 euros, starting price also for the standard Aquaris 5, which have been forced to reduce its cost by 20 euros (179.90 euros) to maintain both devices in the market. By selling free, we can adapt it to the conditions we have with our operator.
