Comparison: iocean x7 hd vs jiayu g4
And with this article we end the confrontations between the iOcean X7 HD with various devices on the market. And we do it with his compatriot from the Jiayu house, the Jiayu G4, a mid-range smartphone with excellent features that has nothing to envy to terminals of higher ranges and which has a very competitive price. But our iOcean does not give up, let alone now that it is so close to the end, reaching the market as the most economical low cost finish on the market today with respect to its specifications. With this comparison we say goodbye (or see you later, who knows) to a Chinese smartphone that has earned a place in the Professional Review team. Let the beginning of the end begin !:
Screens: that of the Jiayu G4 reaches 4.7 inches while that of the iOcean rounds up to 5 inches. The two phones share the same resolution (1280 x 720 pixels) and are accompanied by IPS technology, so they have very vivid colors and a great viewing angle. The Jiayu G4 also features Gorilla Glass 2 crash protection.
Cameras: The iOcean features an 8-megapixel primary lens with F / 2.2 focal aperture. Its front camera has 2 megapixels, very useful for video conferencing or photography. The Jiayu G4 for its part is composed of a CMOS sensor manufactured by Sony of 13 MP, so quality is guaranteed. As for the front lens, the Jiayu has 3 megapixels, more than ideal for making video calls or snapshots too. Both phones also feature autofocus, panoramic mode or LED flash.
Processors: both smarthones present a SoC from the same manufacturer, being MediaTek MT6582 quad-core at 1.30 GHz in the case of the X7 HD and MediaTek MT6589 Turbo with four cores at 1.2GHz if we refer to the Jiayu . Its graphics chips are different: Mali400MP2 for the iOcean and PowerVR SGX544MP if we talk about the G4 . RAM memory is also repeated in both terminals, being 1 GB, unless we talk about the advanced model Jiayu, which incorporates 2 GB of RAM. The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system is present in the X7, but the Jiayu contains Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 customized by the brand.
Designs: The Jiayu G4 is 133mm tall x 65mm wide. Its thickness can be 8.2 mm or 10 mm depending on the model (already mentioned above), since it has different batteries, also varying its weight: from 162 grams to 180 grams. As for the back cover of the Jiayu G4 there is nothing to highlight: it is made of plastic, resistant and cheap, and it is also attached by a metal frame to the front of the terminal. As for the i Ocean X7 HD we can say that it has slightly higher dimensions of 141 mm high × 69 × 8.95 millimeters thick . Its casing is made of aluminum, giving it some resistance.
Connectivity: the two devices have basic connections that are well known to all of us, such as WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth or FM radio, without the presence of 4G / LTE technology.
Internal memories : the iOcean X7HD has 4 GB of ROM , like the two Jiayu models ( Basic and Advanced ) with the possibility of expansion via microSD card up to 32 GB in the case of the X7 and up to 64 GB if we talk about the Jiayu G4.
Batteries : in both cases they give us the opportunity to choose between more than one battery, for example, in the case of the iOcean we have one with 2000 mAh capacity and another with 3000 mAh, but if we choose the Basic model of the Jiayu G4 we will have a 1850 mAh battery, and if we get the Advanced model, its capacity will grow to 3000 mAh. In conclusion we can say that the autonomies of these models are of excellent appeal, especially for those who are prone to playing or watching many videos.
WE RECOMMEND YOU The Google Pixel the brand that grows the most in the United StatesPrices and availability: it will be a long time before seeing iOcean in the Spanish market, at least on a large scale, since in mid-January it was released in its own country (China) for a price in yuan that in exchange is slightly less than 100 euros, about 96 euros approximately. However it can be ours from the web electronicabarata.es for 154.99 euros. Another option is to purchase it directly from your country of origin for the price indicated above, without of course counting customs costs. The Jiayu G4 can be ours for a somewhat more expensive price and through its official website in Spain, where the Turbo model is available for 210 euros and its brother Advance for 265 euros.
