Comparison: jiayu s1 vs sony xperia z1
And with this article we end the battles of our particular ring between the Jiayu S1 and a dozen applicants, having as a culmination the Sony flagship, the new Sony Xperia Z1. Both smartphones will continue to fight for their corresponding place in the market based on good qualities, which are not lacking in any of them. But as we have always been saying lately, we are not judges, we only dedicate ourselves to exposing the characteristics of each of the terminals in addition to their price, comparing them, and pretending with this that we all come to the conclusion about which one is more profitable or more profitable. It adjusts better to our needs. Here begins the perhaps "toughest" battle that the Chinese model has had to dispute. Let the combat begin !:
We will start with its designs: the S1 is a smaller smartphone with its 138 mm high x 69 mm wide x 9 mm thick and 145 grams of weight, compared to 144.4 mm high x 73.9 mm wide x 8.5 mm thick and 169 grams of the Xperia Z1. This model also has resistance to shocks and dust thanks to its aluminum frame made in one piece, not to mention the possibility of immersing it in water up to 1 meter. We have it available in white, black and purple. The body of the Chinese smartphone is made of steel, which gives it great resistance and robustness.
Now the cameras: the Jiayu S1 has a 13-megapixel primary lens, while the Xperia Z1 features a 20.7-megapixel Sony Exmor RS rear camera that features great stabilization, an f / 2.0 aperture, and a wide-angle 27 mm, among other functions. Both terminals have an LED flash. The front lenses of the Jiayu S1 and Sony Xperia Z1 feature 2 MP each. Both smartphones also make video recordings: HD 720p in the case of the S1 and Full HD 1080p if we refer to the Xperia Z1.
Processors: The Jiayu S1 features a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 SoC, while the Sony Xperia Z1 features a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. The graphics chips of the Jiayu and Sony model are Adreno 320 and Adreno 330 respectively. They have the same RAM (2 GB). The Android operating system version 4.2. Jelly Bean accompanies the Jiayu. The Xperia meanwhile has Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Next, its screens: they have practically the same size and resolution: 4.9 inches with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, they protect the Jiayu, while the Xperia Z1 rounds up to 5 inches Full HD and with the same resolution, which it has 441 dpi. The Chinese model has IPS technology that gives its screen a wide viewing angle and very defined colors. For its part, the Sony has Triluminos technology, a feature that gives it incredibly real colors, showing better-looking faces with natural skin tones. The Xperia Z1 also features a crash-resistant, chip-resistant sheet, while the Jiayu uses Corning Gorilla Glass 2.
If we talk about its connections, we can say once again that the Chinese device lacks 4G / LTE support, staying only in more basic connections such as WiFi or 3G, while the Sony terminal does offer it.
Internal memories: the Jiayu S1 has for sale a single model of 32 GB of ROM. The Sony Xperia Z1 meanwhile has a terminal on the market of 16 GB. Both smartphones have a microSD card slot, so we can expand these memories to 64 GB.
The Jiayu battery has a capacity of 2000 mAh, while that of the Sony Xperia Z1 has 3000 mAh. Both smartphones have good autonomy, but the difference between them is quite evident.
WE RECOMMEND YOU The iPhone XR of 2019 could incorporate a double cameraWe finish with its prices: the Jiayu S1 can be ours for about 230 euros, an amount that together with its specifications makes it a more typical terminal of the high range but with a lower range amount, which translates into a good relationship price quality. The Sony Xperia Z1 however is a much more expensive phone: it is currently sold in pc components for a value of 525 euros in black and free, and for 545 euros if we prefer it in purple. Obviously, it is not a device that is available to everyone, so the possibility of taking advantage of permanence rates that our operator can offer us to be able to pay in installments makes it more attractive in the face to its acquisition.
