Comparison: lg nexus 5 vs iphone 5s
The iPhone 5S, along with the iPhone 5C is one of the latest Apple releases. With a free price in the Spanish market of € 700, we can place it in the high-end range of Smartphones. We are going to compare it with the Nexus 5, the new Google Smartphone, with a free price of € 350 and an excellent value for money.
The first aspect that we are going to compare is the screen and resolution of both phones. The iPhone 5S has a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 640 × 1136 pixels, which is equivalent to 326 pixels per inch. The display features LED backlight technology. The Nexus 5 screen has a size of 5 inches with a resolution of 1920x1080pixels, or what is the same, 445 pixels per inch.
As for the camera of both Smartphones, in both cases the rear has a resolution of 8 megapixels. The difference comes with the additional features of the iPhone 5S: Auto-focus, face detector, panoramic photography, automatic photo retouching, panoramic orientation and Dual Led flash.
Regarding memory, the iPhone 5S is exactly the same as its predecessor, the iPhone 5. Three models on the market with 16, 32 and 64 GB and 1 GB of RAM. The Nexus 5 has two versions, one of 16 GB and the other of 32 GB. The RAM memory is greater than that of the Iphone 5S, with 2GB.
Let's go now with the battery. The one on the iPhone 5S has a capacity of 1, 440 mAh, well below what could be expected from a Smartphone of its size. The Nexus 5, despite being worth half, has a battery with a capacity of 2300 mAh. Difference? The Nexus 5 allows you up to 17 hours in conversation and the iPhone 5S, 10.
All in all, I conclude that the Nexus 5, Google's Smartphone has a much better value for money than the iPhone 5S. And is that, as you yourself have been able to read, there are many aspects such as the resolution of the screen, the RAM memory or the battery, something to which users give great importance, the Nexus 5 wins by thrashing the iPhone 5S.
