Comparison: lg nexus 5 vs samsung galaxy s4

Anonim

We are going to make a comparison between two quite new smartphones in the market. We have on the one hand the Samsung Galaxy S4, with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system and, on the other, the LG Nexus 5, Google's Smartphone and which has the latest Android, Android 4.4 Kit Kat, as its operating system. The Galaxy S4 is currently around € 475. While the Nexus 5, with a much lower price, you can get it now for approximately € 360/400.

We started by evaluating the screen of the two phones both in inches and resolution, a very important aspect when watching movies or playing on the Smartphone. The Galaxy S4 is 5 inches with a Full HD Super Amoled resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, which is equivalent to 400 pixels per inch. The Nexus 5, at 4.95 inches, has a resolution of 1920 × 1080, which is equivalent to 445 pixels per inch with Full HD IPS. We see how the resolution is identical on the two phones, but, as the Nexus 5 inches are somewhat lower, the resolution per inch wins on the Google phone.

Let us now go for the memory. The Samsung Galaxy S4 offers us as internal memory the non-negligible amount of 16 GB of internal memory, expandable up to 64 GB more with the insertion of a micro SD card. The Nexus 5 has two versions on the market, one with 16 GB and the other with 32 GB of user memory, which cannot be expanded using microSD.

As for the camera, both front and rear, the Galaxy S4 wins by a landslide. And it is that it has a rear camera with 13 megapixels of resolution while the Nexus 5 with an excellent 8 megapixels with Sony stabilizer. The front camera of the Nexus 5 Smartphone has 1.3 megapixels while the Samsung has 2 megapixels of resolution.

Let's go now with the battery, a very important aspect when buying a Smartphone. Another positive point for the Galaxy S4 with its 2600 mAh of capacity. The Nexus 5 lags somewhat, but not by much, with 2300 mAH.

The Nexus 5 has dimensions of 137.84 × 69.17 × 8.59mm and a weight of 130 grams. The Samsung Galaxy S4, also weighing 130 grams, has a size of 136.6 × 69.8 × 7.9 mm. The most significant difference is in the thickness of the Smartphones.
