Anonim

The first combat of the newcomer to our website, the Nokia X, will be against a heavyweight of the competition, the Motorola Moto G. The difference between one terminal and another is appreciable, since each one is aimed at a different audience. We are talking about two terminals with good value for money that are not happening or will go unnoticed by the market. Let's review its specifications in case there is still a clue out there that still has doubts. Let's start:

Screens: The Moto G has a 4.5-inch TFT screen and a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels that gives it 329 ppi. The Nokia has a size equivalent to 4 inches and WVGA resolution (800 x 480 pixels). It also features IPS technology, which gives it a wide viewing angle and very vivid colors.

Processors: The Moto G features a Qualcomm MSM8x26 quad-core A7 SoC that runs at 1.2 GHz and Adreno 305 GPU. The RAM is 1 GB. Its operating system is Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The Nokia X for its part has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 8225 dual-core 1 GHz CPU and Adreno 205 graphics chip. It has 512 MB of RAM. They have the same operating system: Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean in the case of the Nokia X and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean if we refer to the Moto G.

Design: Regarding size, the Moto G has dimensions of 129.9 mm high x 65.9 mm wide x 11.6 mm thick and weighs 143 grams, compared to 115.5 mm high × 63 mm width × 10.4 mm thickness and 128 grams of the Nokia. The Moto G also has very sophisticated protections: we can buy a protective case against shocks, known by the name of " Grip Shell ". Its small "stops" make it easy to place the smartphone face down, as it prevents possible scratches. On the other hand, the “ Flip Shell ” can also be ours, another casing that allows the device to be closed completely and which consists of an opening on the screen to be able to use it without any problem . The Nokia X casing is made of polycarbonate, which guarantees durability, gives it a good touch and facilities when it comes to coloring the smartphone. It is available in various colors: bright green, blue, black, yellow, bright red, and white.

Its batteries present a quite significant difference between its capacities: the Moto G manages with a non-removable 2070 mAh capacity, hence it presents an external battery kit; while the Nokia X has a 1500 mAh. Their autonomies can be more or less compensated depending on the use that we give to the terminal.

Internal Memory: The Moto G presents two models for sale, one 8 GB and the other 16 GB, while the Nokia X has a single 4 GB model on the market. The Nokia has the possibility of expanding its memory through a microSD card (4 GB extra, included) , something that does not happen with the Moto G, which does not have a card slot but has free storage of 50 GB on Google Drive.

Camera: The Moto G's main lens features 5 megapixels with an f / 2.4 focal aperture and LED flash. Its front camera is 1.3 megapixels, which never hurts to make a snapshot or video call. Video recording is done in HD 720p at 30 fps. The Nokia has a main lens that does not stand out in anything especially, being 3 megapixels, without autofocus or LED flash. Video recording is done in 864 x 480 pixel resolution.

Connectivity: they have basic connections such as WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth or FM radio, both lacking 4G / LTE technology.

Availability and price: the Moto G can be ours from the pccomponentes website for 175 - 197 euros depending on the model. The new Nokia X can be ours for 124 euros if we buy it from the pccomponentes website. We are talking about a very humble terminal in terms of its specifications, with a very competitive price and intended for users who do not seek to make very sophisticated use of their Smartphone.
