As we saw yesterday with the Samsung Galaxy S3, today it is the turn of the Samsung Galaxy S4 to review Professional Review in front of the Oneplus one. We are talking about two terminals with excellent characteristics that coincide in some of them while in others there is a clear winner… but who wins in terms of value for money? Is it always the cheapest terminal? We assume that it has nothing to do, but little by little we will detail each of its benefits to reach a more or less correct conclusion. We await your opinions. We start:

Technical characteristics:

Designs: Samsung model measures 136.6mm high × 69.8mm wide × 7.9mm thick and a weight of 145 grams, so it has a smaller size than the Oneplus, which has 152.9 mm high x 75.9 mm wide x 8.9 mm thick and 162 grams of weight. The Galaxy has a body made of polycarbonate -resistant plastic- that gives it a certain robustness. It is available in blue, white and black, to which will later be added aurora red, arctic blue, twilight pink, mirage purple and autumn brown. The Oneplus, meanwhile, has a chrome outer rim body with subtle curves and a slim profile. It is available in black and white.

Screens: they have a different size, 4.99 inches in the case of the Galaxy and reaching 5.5 inches if we talk about the Oneplus. They do match in resolution, being 1920 x 1080 pixels in both cases. The One has IPS technology, which gives it a great viewing angle and very vivid colors. The one of the Samsung for its part has super AMOLED technology , which gives it good visibility even in sunlight. The Corning Gorilla Glass 3 glass is in charge of protecting both screens from possible accidents that they may suffer.

Processors: while the Samsung is accompanied by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core CPU running at 1.9 GHz, the Oneplus is backed by a SoC from the same manufacturer but different model: Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core at 2.5 GHz. With its graphics chips the same thing happens, being Adreno 320 who supports the Galaxy S4 and Adreno 330 who does the same with the Oneplus. Its RAM memories are not the same, accompanying 2 GB to the Samsung terminal and being 3 GB who included in the One. As for its operating systems, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is included in the S4 and CyanogenMod 11S (based on Android 4.4) accompanies the Oneplus.

Cameras: Both front lenses have 13 megapixels, accompanied by a f / 2.0 focal aperture and an LED flash, which in the case of the Oneplus is Dual. As for the front sensors, the same does not happen, being 2 megapixels in the case of the Galaxy and 5 megapixels if we refer to the One. Video recording is done in 4k resolution and with slow motion in 720p at 120fps if we refer to the Oneplus and 1080p quality at 30 fps in the case of the Samsung.

Connectivity: both terminals have more basic connections such as 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth, but they are also compatible with LTE / 4G technology , as has been the case today with terminals of higher ranges.

Internal memories: Although the two terminals coincide in having a 16 GB and a 64 GB model for sale, in the case of the Galaxy we can find a third 32 GB ROM model on the market. To this we must add that on the part of the Samsung Smartphone there is the possibility of expanding its storage to 64 GB thanks to its microSD card slot, a feature that the Oneplus does not have.

Batteries: the 3100 mAh that the Oneplus has are well above the 2600 mAh that the battery of the Galaxy presents, which on the other hand are not negligible. We therefore hope that the One has a somewhat greater autonomy than the Samsung terminal .

WE RECOMMEND YOU Now you can reserve the Nokia 9 PureView in Spain
